Is it cheaper to book online?
Yes. The lowest rates are available through the official Kawaki Ryokan website.
We recommend making your reservation directly through our official site.
Q
How many children can share a bed with parents, and what is the age limit?
One child per bed can share with parents free of charge.
Eligible age: preschool children (elementary school children are not included).
Please note that pillows and additional bedding cannot be provided for.

Can I be put on a waiting list for cancellations?
We are sorry, but we do not offer a waiting list service.
Please contact us by phone for up-to-date room availability.
Q
When do cancellation fees apply?
According to our accommodation agreement, cancellation fees apply from 7 days prior to the check-in date.
Same-day cancellations will incur a 100% charge of the accommodation fee.

What time is check-in?
Check-in is available from 3:00 PM.
Due to room cleaning schedules, we are unable to accommodate early check-in before 3:00 PM.
However, we can store your luggage free of charge before check-in or after check-out.

What time is check-out?
Check-out is at 11:00 AM.
Q
What if I arrive late for check-in?
Dinner is served at designated times, so please check in by 7:00 PM if possible.
If you expect to arrive later than the time provided at booking, please contact us in advance.
If we do not receive notice, your booking may be considered canceled.

Do you offer parcel delivery service?
Yes. We provide Yamato Transport (Kuroneko) courier services.
Shipping labels for prepaid and cash-on-delivery are available at the front desk.

Can I bring my own food and drinks?
Yes, you may bring your own food and drinks.
Each room is equipped with a refrigerator for your convenience.

Is Wi-Fi available?
Yes, Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.
No advance reservation or special request is required, but please note that we cannot guarantee perfect connectivity at all times.

Do you have a large public bath?
We are sorry, but we do not have a large public bath.
At Kawaki Ryokan, we value the privacy of our guests and therefore do not provide shared bathing facilities.

Are there supermarkets or convenience stores nearby?
Unfortunately, there are no convenience stores within walking distance.
The nearest FamilyMart is about 5 minutes away by car, and the nearest Lawson is about 10 minutes away by car.

Can I send luggage to the ryokan in advance?
Yes, we will accept your luggage at the front desk.
Please write "Check-in date / Guest name: ○○" on the shipping slip.
When sending luggage, please allow enough time for delivery before your check-in date.
Q
Can my friends visit me in my room during my stay?
We are sorry, but non-registered guests are not allowed in guest rooms.
Please meet with your friends in the lounge or common area instead.
